Stunning hotel with breathtaking views of Elounda

Stunning hotel with superb views, nice big modern and stylish room. We had a partial sea view. Amazing pool area with multiple levels of sunbeds. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful - accommodating a late check-out at no extra cost. Excellent buffet breakfast amongst the best we’ve had and views from the restaurant are breathtaking.

Hard to fault anything at all, however we did find the glass shower and toilet cubicle quite small. The drive to the car park was a hair raising experience

Great view, good location for an affordable price.

The location was good. Close to restaurants and tavernas. About 10-15 min walk to the central beach. The restaurant for breakfast had a great view and breakfast was ok, although it was the same thing every morning. We had booked a superior room with a sea view to Spinalonga. Really breathtaking to take a look at it every morning and evening! The room was a good size, modern. The cleaning lady was doing an excellent job! The hotel provided free parking which was great. The staff was attentive.

The bathroom was extremely small. You seat on the toilet and your head is in the door, which on top of that did not close properly. Not sure if you are an oversized person how you will deal with it. The shower as well..small, leaking water in the bathroom department . It Was not a great experience, basically it was my faster going in and out of there. Definitely need some renovation and remodeling. Because there is actually 2 sinks. You better have a good size toilet and shower and only 1 sink. The transparent like doors did not help as well as you see through them. For a 4 star hotel, better and bigger towels are needed. The ones we had you barely cover yourself and we are not big people. There is no bathrobe, slippers, no shower gel ( only shampoo, conditioner and body cream). Finally the hotel is build on a hill. If you are on top, for the view you need to take 3 elevators or lots of stairs to reach your room. The positive to be on top in building C is that you are close to the parking lot and the pool.

Very Good

The pool was great. The location is near some really lovely restaurants. The room we had was adequate in size with lots of wardrobe space and his and hers sinks.

Main road in front of hotel can be quite busy and pedestrian walkways are not very wide or non existent in some areas. The top balcony above the pool had a couple of broken sunbeds. The toilet in the room is quite small.

Nice for short trip to visit Elounda, but I would not stay for the whole vacations

We got a room with a nice big terrace in block D, the view was just incredible. Breakfast was fine, the staff on the reception is super nice and friendly.

The quality of the cleaning needs improvement. The shower cabin was full of sand and hair after the previous guests, stains on the sofa and towels, dirty tea cups in our room. Also, there is not enough beds at the swimming pool area, we we sitting at the bar :(

Best vacation ever!

Everything was beyond amazing, starting from the personnel, extremely friendly and helpful, to the interior design which will surely impress with its modernity and elegance even the most demanding guests. The pool area was very cozy and beautiful, the bartenders were really pleasant, too. Hotel housekeeping is on top, our room was always very clean. There’s a huge variety of food available for breakfast, moreover, the sea view at the hotel restaurant was just breathtaking. The receptionist kindly explained us the routes to local sights and beaches, printed out bus schedules which we found super nice. The hotel is located very close to the seaside; local restaurants with authentic Greek cuisine, souvenir shops and supermarkets are within 10 minute walk. Highly recommend!

There were a lot of beaches nearby but the closest sandy one, less crowded and with clear water was in 30-40 minute walk which was kinda tiresome in heat like this but we had a lot of free time so that’s fine, personally don’t recommend the Plaka beach (5 km from the hotel), not worth it, there were way closer and better beaches around. Also, a bit complicated building structure because of which during the first days we struggled with finding our room and not get lost.

Cool staff/ comfortable room but It is sad for a 4star hotel to have 1star maintenance.

Location was good, the bed was perfect, the size room and overall aesthetic. Seems renovated to look nice. Staff was super nice and friendly.

Bathroom faucet 1 run very slow and faucet 2 was extremely strong, extra round mirror was hanging on the wall through one screw? Toilet glass door did an intense crack sound during open/close, seemed like it would break any minute, shower water leaked throughout every glass corner to the rest of the bathroom where the water could never reach the drains. The renovation was made to look nice and that only. It is sad for a 4star hotel to have 1star maintenance.

Great location but lacking finesse

Friendly staff throughout Nice pool....surprisingly deep As others have said lack of sun loungers can be a problem but we managed to get one each day. Room spacious and clean Well priced pool bar. Ate a couple of days there too.

Breakfast was the same everyday. Didn't go hungry but it wasn't anything special. Aspects of this was very 3 star hotel. The hotel is very strict about towel usage. They say they change room and pool towels every 3 days which I think is too long for a resort hotel. We stayed 4 nights therfore it makes more sense to change on day 2.... I put my towel down on floor on day 2 which they changed with a strict note that there will be a charge for further changes, then didn't change any of the other towels on day 3. It's just very silly and would be the factor that would prevent us from returning and also recommended people to the hotel. Which is a shame. Aircon worked but wasn't particularly easy. They have a coffee machine in the room but then charge 1 euro per pod from reception..... we didn't like this as it makes you either not use it or have to buy some from another supermarket.

Hope to visit again.

The room was clean and a very good size and the view of the sea from our large balcony was awesome. The breakfast was abundant and very tasty which we enjoyed having while admiring the picturesque seaview. Parking was no problem at all. The staff very friendly and helpful.

As we were on the very top floor, there was no lift for the last floor so we had to go up the stairs one floor BUT at the end of the day it was worth it because the view was incredible,

Good breakfast, room size was good, and excellent location.

Many small things that added up. Bathroom was not very clean, the fixtures look very worn out which in turn makes them look dirty. The thicker sheets stored in the closet were used and stained, though were promptly replaced when requested. We booked a sea view but the view was entirely blocked by the building - the room should not be sold as a sea view if this is the case. Toilet is like a glass box - not much privacy, but if you are over 5’7’’ you will also touch the walls while using it. Not very comfortable.

Not worth 4* but rather an expensive 3*

Spacious room with large comfortable bed (but small bathroom). Pool area is nice (see more below) if you can get a good spot with sun all day, the pool bar has happy hour on beer at the end of the day. Location is great, just a few steps away from the main street and harbor. You can also walk to Olous/Poros towards the other side.

Looks very nice at first glance (and it is) but when you look closer you notice the maintenance is quite bad (stains, rust, humidity, bugs, … in common areas). Also heard noises from bugs/rodents(?) in the walls at night. Pool area smelled musty in some places, pool chairs and cushions were old and dirty, moss/algae on the pool recliners, overall just bad maintenance of a very nice pool area. Jacuzzi did not work (no bubbles) and had bugs on the floor. The pool only opened at 10:30am and closed at 6:30pm, which was a bit strange. Room was mostly clean but dusty behind the curtains and the shower was moldy/musty and leaky, there was a puddle in the middle of the bathroom whenever we showered. The terrace was quite large but never had any sun at any time of the day, so we did not get to enjoy it and the sea view was quite limited between the buildings (not worth paying the upgrade for sea view). Towels were changed randomly. Sometimes we would get two new large ones, sometimes just one, sometimes only small ones… A bit tricky when you’re showering and washing your hair daily after the pool but we managed. Breakfast buffet was bad. We only ate fried eggs for a whole week. No option to have vegan milk in hot beverages.

The location, the view and most of the staff. The check in and out were very easy and very friendly and the cleaning excellent

The breakfasts were the same everyday and a bit bland eg freshly squeezed orange juice would be nice. We are sure you used to do it? Maybe alternate egg options would help and hot pancakes not cold ones? All the staff were lovely especially Elena and Helen but one let’s the team down badly …. Two occasions he was obnoxious and rude but fortunately for us and other guests he only seemed to be part time on the poolside bar

The perfect boutique hotel in Elounda for a relaxing and couple focused stay.

My partner and I stayed here for five days in early September 2023. We were looking for a boutique-style hotel that had very good reviews and was within walking distance from restaurants, bars, and cafes. Elounda Orama offered all of this and we were very happy with our stay at the hotel. When we got there we were welcomed by two very friendly members of staff who got us through to our room very quickly. The staff at the hotel were fantastic and happy to help/offer suggestions. They were always very cheerful to see us and really made the stay that much better [so thank you to the staff at Elounda Orama, you are a credit to your bosses/managers]. The room we had was lovely and perfect for our five days in Elounda. The bathroom was very nicely decorated and functional. The bedroom was a very nice size with an adequate wardrobe and draw space for clothes. There was also a fridge in the room which was nice. We had a nice balcony which had a small view of the sea, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the afternoon heat drinking Mythos and snacking. The hotel pool area is fantastic and has lots of beds for many of the guests staying there. The pool was very nice and clean. There was also a pool bar with great staff and a nice selection of bar food and drink. Parking is available up the hill near the pool area. There is plenty of parking for the visitors and cars seem very secure there.

The bed was a little stiff, but my partner and I have a memory foam mattress at home so that might have been a factor. The hot tub near the pool needs some TLC as the buttons to work the bubbles were not working. The breakfast buffet could have varied a little each day. But overall it was good.
